Field example

Community ownership is part of the solution.

In North Darfur’s Dar El Salam locality, MHPDO worked with local beneficiaries and MSF to construct five emergency latrines. Communities participated in site selection and excavation, supporting ownership and sustainability.

Accountable action

Support that meets people where they are.

In Port Sudan, MHPDO provided dignity kits to 135 vulnerable families — 470 internally displaced beneficiaries — and rehabilitated a water pipeline at the same gathering area through support from its general assembly and philanthropic donors.
